  • Second paper from the study has been published Open Access (£0) in the Intersectional Stigma & LGBTQ+ Health collection of Critical Public Health: 'The majority is the priority: a qualitative, intersectional perspective on LGBTQ+ marginalisation within health and social care service pathways in North East England'.
  • The two published papers have been submitted to the NHS LGBT+ health evidence review.

We have now reached the end of the interviews - thank you to everyone who has contributed.

62 interviews have now taken place: 30 with LGBTQIA+ people, and 32 with professionals, totalling just under 60 hours.

On May 25th Mark, Livv and Karl presented early stage findings at the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) North East and North Cumbria Conference .

The next meeting of the Public Researchers will be taking place on June 2nd 2023. We will also then be turning our gaze towards solutions, and exploring how the project might have impact in the future.

Public Researchers are now over halfway through their data analysis. We held our second in-person meeting in March in which the group started exploring themes within the data.
