The process of analysing the study findings continues!

We have now reached the end of the interviews - thank you to everyone who have contributed.

May 2023

62 interviews have now taken place: 30 with LGBTQIA+ people, and 32 with professionals, totalling just under 60 hours.

On May 25th Mark, Livv and Karl presented early stage findings at the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) North East and North Cumbria Conference .

The next meeting of the Public Researchers will be taking place on June 2nd 2023. We will also then be turning our gaze towards solutions, and exploring how the project might have impact in the future.


March 2023

Public Researchers are now over halfway through their data analysis. We held our second in-person meeting in March in which the group started exploring themes within the data.

The PhD is funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research Applied Research Collaboration North East and North Cumbria, as part of their inequalities and marginalised communities theme, in collaboration with Newcastle University's Population Health Sciences Institute.
